Exchange, Return and Withdrawal Policy

Aphrodite Joias uses state-of-the-art technology to manufacture its products, prioritizing quality and customer satisfaction. Out of respect and to maintain the credibility earned with its consumers, the company has created an exchange and return policy in accordance with the Consumer Protection Code, and is committed to ensuring that you (the customer) obtain an effective, quick, and above all, satisfactory transaction.

  • According to article 49 of the consumer protection code, the customer has up to 7 consecutive days to request an exchange or return of a product in case of buyer's remorse.

How do I request an exchange or return?

  • After the shipping company registers the product as delivered, you will have 7 calendar days to request an exchange or return. The request must be made via email to contato@aphroditejoias.com . Following this, you will receive (within 48 hours for business days or 72 hours for weekends or holidays) an email with instructions for the exchange or return.

  • In case of withdrawal The product must be returned in its original packaging, along with all accessories, labels, seals, tags, and any free gifts (if received).

    Avoid the charge due to the packaging not being returned. Use the same packaging we used to ship the products to you.

  • Refund deadlines for PIX/Boleto: The refund deadline is up to 90 days.
  • Credit Card Refund Timeframes: The refund timeframe can vary between 2 to 3 billing cycles, depending on the issuing bank of the credit card.

The deadline for regretting/canceling the purchase is up to 7 consecutive days, counted from the date of receipt of the purchased product/item , as established by Article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code (once this period has elapsed, the product will be considered accepted by the customer).

*ATTENTION: If upon receiving the product you decide to return it due to buyer's remorse, you must do so within seven calendar days from the date of receipt. The following conditions must be met: The product must show no signs of use. For returns due to buyer's remorse, the cost of shipping the item back via mail is the customer's sole responsibility. Items purchased as a last chance or with a promotional discount are not eligible for exchanges, cancellations, or refunds. Our promotions may have different terms and conditions.

The product should preferably be returned in its original packaging, accompanied by labels, tags (label with the product's reference code) properly attached to the product, and all its accessories.

Our greatest commitment is to your complete satisfaction. If you chose your product in our online store, but upon receiving it, you found a manufacturing defect, or even if you are simply dissatisfied with the product purchased, we guarantee your right to exchange or return it as stipulated in the Consumer Protection Code.

Remember that the first step for an exchange or return is to contact our Customer Service Center via email at contato@aphroditejoias.com. Our team will instruct you on how to proceed with the exchange or return. Once we receive the package, we will analyze it to confirm that everything is in accordance with the return conditions. After confirmation, our customer service team will contact you, and in this case, you can choose between:

1. Exchange for any product that is available in our inventory.

2. Receive a refund for the amount spent on the products.

Exchanges

1 - Conditions for Exchange

1.1 - The customer may request an exchange within 7 days of receiving their purchase, counting from the delivery date of the order, as shown in the Tracking Code.

1.2 - If an exchange is not possible (due to the expiration of the 7-day period or any other reason), we offer a 10% discount for use on a new purchase. Request a discount coupon via email at contato@aphroditejoias.com

1.3 - The product must be in perfect condition and show no signs of use;

1.4 - Due to the speed of our processes, after order confirmation and payment approval, any necessary changes cannot be made; you must wait for the product to arrive before requesting an exchange.

1.5 - Exchange due to Ring sizer : Confirm the ring size of your finger and the ring size of the purchased piece at a trusted jeweler to ensure the exact size is determined using a standard jewelry ring sizer.

1.6 - The customer is responsible for the outbound shipping costs.

1.7 - All our exchanges are made using coupons or adjustments (new order).

1.8 - Exchanges of rings with engravings are not permitted; we offer a 10% discount on the purchase of a new model.

1.9 - Customized items cannot be exchanged, as they are manufactured exclusively for the customer.

2 - Defective product

For products found to be defective, an analysis will be performed. If the defect is confirmed, an exchange will be made. If the item shows signs of misuse, a manufacturing fee will be charged for a new product; the amount will be communicated to the customer via email. If the customer chooses not to have a new item manufactured, the received merchandise will be returned, with shipping and return shipping costs charged.

PS: Gifts are not included in the warranty; however, we offer repair services if necessary, informing the customer of the cost beforehand.

3- Damage to the product during transport

Refuse delivery and contact Customer Service via email at contato@aphroditejoias.com if you find any of the following situations:

Product damaged in transit;

- Packaging damaged.

Our products are manufactured using refined stone setting, polishing, and finishing techniques. Most pieces are handcrafted, so slight differences may occur between the product photo and the finished item. All pieces are packaged after being thoroughly inspected by a team of trained employees; therefore, it is unlikely that they will be shipped differently than requested.

We offer maintenance for an indefinite period, subject to a fee to cover specific services for each case, as well as shipping and return shipping costs. Examples include: stone setting, polishing, cleaning, and others.

To avoid damaging your jewelry, we recommend:

- Take care when using rings with stones, grooves, low relief, or a diamond finish. Over time, it is common for residue to accumulate on these surfaces. To clean these rings, wash them with warm water and mild soap, using a toothbrush to avoid damaging the piece.

- Avoid contact of the jewelry with chemicals such as mercury, chlorine, perfumes, hairsprays, shampoos, sunscreens, tanning lotions, and household cleaning products. All of these elements can react with the metal alloy used in the production of the piece, altering its original color.

- Avoid dropping or bumping your jewelry, as this can damage the piece's structure and cause stones and pearls to come loose. Scratches and scuffs are very common on polished pieces, especially matte ones, and can occur during simple everyday activities. Stones are not included in the warranty.

Even though it's a precious metal, it's natural for silver to tarnish when reacting with certain substances due to the oxidation process, which is not a manufacturing defect. Please contact us for instructions on how to proceed if this happens.

IMPORTANT

  • Plated and/or appliquéd pieces :

- Bathing is not included in the warranty coverage.

The perfect condition of the piece, and consequently the plating, depends on each customer's use.

People with allergies or reactions to silver and/or costume jewelry should avoid using this type of material;

Certain organisms may react with the material of this type of product.

- In general, plated products have a shorter lifespan because they are modified parts resulting from an electroplating process.

- Aphrodite Joias offers a new plating service for the piece, should the customer be interested; the cost will be provided via Customer Service ( contato@aphroditejoias.com ).

  • Sterling Silver Pieces: Our products are made of 950 or 925 silver. Due to their higher purity, they may undergo natural oxidation inherent to the metal itself or due to other factors.
  • Silver Oxidation : Oxidation is a common chemical process that occurs with silver, sometimes independent of the wearer's body chemistry. If your silver jewelry hasn't tarnished, it might be a good idea to visit the store where you bought it to question the product's quality; there's a 99% chance the product isn't actually silver.
  • Why does silver tarnish? Silver tarnishes for several reasons, one of which is sulfur. Sulfur is present in our daily lives, from the gases produced by burning fuel.
    From cars to beauty products that contain the element in their composition,
    this element, in contact with silver, forms a layer of silver sulfide, which has a dark color.
    Sweat also contributes to the tarnishing of silver. Composed primarily of water and dissolved mineral salts, sweat helps the jewelry to mix with sulfur gas, forming the dark layer on the piece.

  • Uric acid? Excess uric acid in the body can also be a cause, as high levels of uric acid directly interfere with silver. Uric acid is a substance naturally produced by the body. According to Dr. Drauzio Varella, it arises as a result of the breakdown of purine molecules—a protein found in many foods—by the action of an enzyme called xanthine oxidase. After being used, the purines are degraded and transformed into uric acid. Part of it remains in the blood, and the rest is eliminated by the kidneys. Within this scientific concept, what we need to understand is that a high concentration of this substance in the body causes silver to tarnish immediately, sometimes, in addition to some health problems, such as joint pain, especially in the lower limbs.

  • How to clean silver rings and jewelry? The most practical way to clean your silver jewelry is:
  • 1) Soak the item in hot water for 15 minutes with 1 tablespoon of grated coconut soap + 1 tablespoon of baking soda.
  • 2) Scrub with a soft toothbrush, remove excess, and rinse with water, drying thoroughly immediately afterwards.
  • 3) Repeat this procedure 3 times.

After technical analysis, if there is a violation or non-compliance with the above regulations, Aphrodite Joias will not accept the exchange or return.

Gifts are not covered by the Warranty and are sent according to stock availability.

The warranty is void if the customer has maintenance or repairs performed at any establishment not affiliated with or recommended by Aphrodite Joias.
