Warranty Policy
The Legal Guarantee, as stipulated in the Consumer Protection Code, is 90 (ninety) days from the date of purchase and covers manufacturing defects and flaws in the purchased product. If it is impossible to repair the product, the customer may choose from the options provided in the first paragraph of article 18 of Law No. 8.078/1990, or use the credit as part of the payment for another jewel of higher value. The Aphrodite Guarantee is valid for 6 (six) months from the date of delivery of the purchase and covers any defects related to technical aspects of manufacturing. If it is impossible to repair the jewel under the conditions of this guarantee, another identical or similar jewel of the same value will be provided at no additional cost.
When you buy a piece of silver jewelry from Aphrodite Joias, we guarantee that you are acquiring a genuine piece.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE WARRANTY: breakage, falling stones, stains, scratches, dents, dirty parts and/or damage caused by misuse.
REMEMBER: silver tends to tarnish naturally over time. This occurs due to contact with oxygen and compounds containing sulfur, for example. But don't worry! This is a natural process for silver.

For more information, please contact our Customer Service Department by email at contato@aphroditejoias.com , Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
Stone loss is covered by the warranty only for the first 3 months after purchase. Aphrodite Joias does not perform stone setting, size adjustment, or other services typically performed by goldsmiths. For repairs outside of warranty, we recommend seeking a trusted professional to repair the piece and avoid potential damage to the jewelry.
Plated and/or appliquéd pieces :
925 sterling silver pieces with 18k gold plating require extra care.
Contact with moisture , cosmetics, chemicals, alcohol, acids, etc., can damage the plating over time, causing the piece to lose its yellow gold tone and turn silver. In addition, the pieces need to be stored individually in a dry place (such as the fabric pouch included in our packaging or the box).
- Bathing is not included in the warranty coverage.
The perfect condition of the piece, and consequently the plating, depends on each customer's use.
People with allergies or reactions to silver and/or costume jewelry should avoid using this type of material;
Certain organisms may react with the material of this type of product.
- In general, plated products have a shorter lifespan because they are modified parts resulting from an electroplating process.
- Aprhodite Joias offers a new plating service for the piece, should the customer be interested; the cost will be provided via customer service (email contato@aprhoditejoias.com).
Special Care for Your Jewelry:
-
Jewelry can be damaged by chemicals, soaps, strong impacts, or intense friction. Avoid wearing it while doing housework, and remove rings when washing your hands.
-
Stones, pearls, and metals have varying degrees of hardness and can scratch. Store these jewels separately and be careful about contact between them and other objects when wearing them.
-
Regularly check clasps, clips, screws, and similar systems.
-
We recommend having the claws inspected annually.
-
Pearls, when in contact with perfumes, hairspray, and even sweat and water, can suffer irreparable damage.
-
To clean pearls, gold, and silver, with or without diamonds, use only a soft flannel cloth.
Care instructions to ensure the item maintains its quality and warranty:
Avoid contact with creams, lotions, ointments, medications, perfumes, greases, tanning lotions, chemicals, or similar products. Residues of these products can react chemically with the surface of the piece, causing oxidation, which is responsible for the loss of the jewelry's shine.
Sea and pool bathing should also be avoided. If maintenance or repair of the jewelry is necessary, always seek the help of a trusted jeweler. Remember to store it in cellophane bags or suitable jewelry cases.
The following are excluded from this warranty:
Jewelry with damage or oxidation due to misuse or poor maintenance of the product. This piece has a 6 (six) month warranty from the date of delivery of the product, upon delivery of the product. For analysis and inspection by the manufacturer, the shipment of the piece via mail is the sole responsibility of the customer.
Be careful with the jewelry.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
We recommend that customers remove their jewelry before sleeping or engaging in physical activity. Exposure to certain chemicals or harsh environments can compromise the integrity of your jewelry. This includes, but is not limited to: perspiration, perfumes, cleaning agents, chlorine, salt water, and silver polishing.
Cleaning your jewelry
Pour a small amount of mild, neutral soap into warm water and use a small, soft toothbrush to clean your jewelry. Toothbrushes are ideal for cleaning jewelry with intricate details, which can be difficult to clean. If the dirt is difficult to remove, soak the jewelry in clean water. This particular cleaning method should not be used to clean jewelry with freshwater cultured pearls. A silver polishing cloth is a great tool to make your silver jewelry shine again if the pieces appear dull. However, it will not remove scratches. Innovative products deserve special care; follow these recommendations to ensure they remain beautiful representations of your unforgettable moments. Maintain the unique, shiny, and beautiful finish by polishing the products with a soft cloth. Dampen the soft cloth with warm water, add a little mild soap, and gently rub the jewelry. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. If the dirt is difficult to remove, soak the jewelry in water for 5 or 10 minutes. You should avoid purchasing silver polish or varnish, ultrasonic cleaners, and cleaning drums. The use of polishing cloths containing a cleaning agent is not recommended. Do not expose jewelry to chemicals, perfumes, or creams, and remove jewelry before showering or swimming. Over time, keep in mind that the rose gold color tends to intensify with use, giving it an antique and attractive appearance. Progressive wear of the finish is normal and is not covered by the Aphrodite Joias warranty.
STORAGE OF YOUR JEWELRY
Jewelry should be stored away from direct sunlight and heat, in a jewelry box or weather-resistant protective bag. Never use plastic bags or containers as they contain sulfur compounds that will cause sterling silver to tarnish more quickly and possibly turn black. Do not store your jewelry in the bathroom.
OXIDATION
Oxidation occurs over time. This is considered normal wear and tear and is not a defect. Reasons that can cause oxidation include: sweat, chlorine, perfumes, cleaning products, and silver polishing. The use of liquid to polish silver is not recommended. Oxidized (darkened) jewelry does not benefit from being submerged in silver polishing liquid, as this destroys the oxidation.
LEATHER
Leather is a natural product that will benefit from careful protection. Do not use water or other liquids that may cause discoloration. Leather may stretch and relax over time; this stretching is not a product defect. As a natural characteristic of genuine leather, you may observe slight shading and color variations. You may also notice a change in leather tone due to oils in the hide and the addition of charms to the bracelet or necklace. Wear it with a maximum of 7 or 9 charms. When adding charms to new leather bracelets, be careful to keep the leather bracelet taut and rotate the charm on the bracelet. Be careful not to twist the leather part of the bracelet when adding charms, as the leather may be at risk of being damaged.
ENAMELED
Enameling is used on delicate and fine jewelry, which requires special care because the vitrified enamel can break easily if dropped or impacted. Pieces with enamel application should be stored protected and isolated from others, as friction can damage it.
ADJUSTABLE RING
Adjust the ring gently and slowly. The best way to wear the adjustable ring is on the same finger; frequent adjustments or frequent finger changes can damage the ring and make it non-adjustable.
WATCHES
It is not recommended to exceed 20 meters in swimming pool dives, as this can cause some materials to detach, allowing water to enter the watch's main system. Watch seals are made of silicone, rubber, and other materials that cannot come into contact with hot water, as this can cause melting and render the product unusable in the future. Never press the buttons while underwater. Always check that the crown is fully screwed in before contact with water. The watch warranty does not cover costs related to water damage to the system.
